Evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts do not go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's, but apples did not suspend themselves in mid-air, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape-like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered.

Once you've coped with that, you can move onto the more advanced. ie: 1st grade (or whatever you have)
Yay, I read it...1st grade here I come! Uh, 2+2= Bible? Now, back to transitional forms...can macroevolution be observed today? Why does it appear to have stopped? Where are the humans with wing nubbies or the lizards with patches of fur (I won't ask about the multitudes of transitional fossils that should be accounted for)?

When discussing the topic, creationists use "strategically elastic" definitions of micro- and macroevolution. Macroevolution, by their definition, cannot be attained. Any observed evolutionary change is described by them as being "just microevolution"."
