Usmanov's lawyers have had this article removed from the author's website (Craig Murray).
I don't know the exact truth about Usmanov, or other Russian "Oligarchs" like Roman Abramovich. What I do know is, nobody gets that rich that quick in a non-corrupt way.
It must be some kind of irony that the ultimate result of the peoples' revolution in Russia was the theft of the country's natural resources.
In an ideal world, the planet's natural resources would be owned by the people and rationed sensibly to avert ecological disaster. But what we have now is about far from that as could be imagined.
To share and be sensible is not the way of the talking money.
